Ten reasons to travel: because traveling is living your life!
Although I like to write about travel to help other people, what fills my heart the most is inspiring writing. It is good to provide all the data, prices, forms to get to the places, giving you ideas about where to sleep and eat. But the most important one of all is to encourage the reader to go to the sites. Creating emotion, anxiety, the need to travel in search of adventure or, at least, to get out of the monotonous routine and put yourself into the unknown, whether it is for a week, a month, a year, or even a decade drive you to the path of travel.
There are different trips, where you are trying to soak up different landscapes and cultures within a limited time. Or not. I believe you will not understand what kind of destination awaits you until you have the experience yourself, but making the decision to start an adventure is not that easy. Our society is structured in a certain conventional way and what you are starting to do breaks many of these rules. If the idea of a trip like this (not necessarily a trip around the world, but one that involves leaving things behind and spending months on the road) haunts your head, however, you do not dare to take the step, here are a series of reasons that in my opinion will help you jump into the void of adventure:
1. Traveling favors your health
Traveling favors you both psychologically and physically. It helps reduce stress, calm anxiety, and even heal depression.
If you are undergoing any medical treatment, do not stop living this experience just for this reason, consult your doctor, take the necessary medication and you will see how comforting the experience is.
When you return you will be another person and you will want to expand your horizons even more.
2. Break the routine
Traveling brings experience, knowledge, allows us to broaden our vision of the outside world.
Don't let daily living consume you. Take a break, purify your mind and you will see that you will return with new ideas and renewed strength.
3. Traveling connects you to new cultures
How many times do you repress your desire to know other countries for fear of not being able to communicate?
Many think that language is an insurmountable barrier, and it really isn't!
You don't need to speak several languages to be able to travel, of course, if within your abilities you have the possibility of communicating in other languages that will be of great help, but not essential.
Today there are technological means that allow you to communicate without having to master foreign languages. Take advantage of them and challenge the world and yourself.
4. Traveling improves your understanding of other life forms
Going out into the world opens your mental borders.
Nothing better than sharing with those who live, think, and act differently to understand the richness of the human being.
These experiences will enrich you as a person, they will allow you to grow, be more tolerant, and be receptive to those customs that are strange to you.
Go ahead and visit countries about which you have a skeptical opinion. That experience will surely modify your previous perception.
5. Share new experiences
When traveling connect with other people, exchange ways of thinking and being.
There is no better way of learning than the experience itself, and on trips, you can experience new sensations, challenges that you never imagined you could solve.
Do not limit yourself by your fears and your habits, share different impressions, that will make you wiser, more intelligent, more sociable.
6. Share gastronomic customs
In each country, in each region, allow yourself to know their gastronomic traditions.
Trying the typical foods of each place enriches the soul, enjoy its flavors, its aromas, probably many you have never known before.
The gastronomic customs of each country provide great knowledge about its population. Take advantage of the opportunity that traveling offers you to taste this great variety of dishes prepared by expert hands.
7. Encourage your adventurous spirit
Nothing like traveling to face challenges that you would never have faced otherwise.
Plan your itinerary in advance, take advantage of the infinity of technological means that we have today to challenge your knowledge.
The destinations are very varied and each traveler will have their favorites, the beach, the mountains, the jungle, the city, in short, as many destinations as there are travelers.
8. Create a real community
Traveling allows you to create relationships that, although distant, are lasting.
Traveling implies meeting people, sharing experiences, exchanging knowledge, which adds great value to our being. All this also aims to achieve personal growth; since each person; each new culture is a truly invaluable contribution to our person.
We recommend that you always keep those contacts alive, how many times have you arrived in a city and thanks to the hospitality of its inhabitants you have achieved that human warmth that you needed.
9. Harvest knowledge; another reason to travel
An experienced traveler reaps endless knowledge that will become invaluable capital for the rest of his life.
That anecdote, that experience, even that tasteless one that you had to face to get ahead will enrich you, strengthen you and become the best memories that you can pass on to your friends and loved ones.
10. Allows you to value your home even more
Traveling is magical, it is mind-blowing, but it is also enlightening, it is rewarding.
Many times when traveling and getting to know different cultures, different needs, different ways of approaching life, you learn to value your country, your family, your environment even more.
